Wadi Degla Soccer Schools was established in 2003, and partnered with Arsenal Soccer Academy in 2007, whereby Wadi Degla was the first to introduce the branded academy concept in the Egyptian market.
The academy was operating using Arsenal’s Soccer module; as well as “Train the Trainers Program”, a program where Arsenal coaches visited Wadi Degla Clubs twice per year to conduct several workshops for Wadi Degla trainers.
Starting 2015, the academy became under the management of Captain Islam Shoukry, who was appointed as the General Manager of Wadi Degla Soccer Schools and the Manager of the Junior Teams.
Today Wadi Degla Soccer School is considered the biggest Soccer academy in Egypt with more than 3,000 participants.
The school has managed to attract some of Egypt’s best former football players and is currently operated by 120 well experienced trainers
2017 marks a new phase for the soccer school, as the management succeeded in partnering with the renowned, Manuel Jose, as the Technical Advisor for the schools along with the input of his reputable assistant Fedalgo Antunes.
